Cue Ball was formed in 2003. Three classmates from Penn State who had shared a love for music formed this unique band that focuses on irish and blues music with a bit of rock, folk, country and soul mixed in. Cue Ball performs in the greater Pittsburgh area at pubs and events throughout the year.
The quintet consists of Mark Wilcox on rhythm and lead guitar, Joe Johns on bass, Tim Stewart on keyboards, harmonica and lead and backing vocals, Evan Rowles on the drums and Mike Arnold on rhythm and lead guitar and lead and backing vocals. Les Getchell, bodhran and percussion player from the traditional Irish Band Hooley, sits in with Cue Ball from time to time.
